Nowadays, glass doors are ubiquitous, usually divided into framed and frameless. Framed glass doors are usually selected in home decoration, while frameless glass doors are usually used in offices, hotels and other places. Today, we will talk about the installation method of frameless glass doors.
 

Installation method of frameless glass door
1. Setting out and positioning: at the beginning of the installation of the frameless glass door, the fixed glass partition and the movable glass door leaf must be set out and positioned uniformly. To determine the position of the door frame, accurately measure the ground elevation and the top elevation of the door frame.
 

2. Install the limit slot at the top of the frameless glass door frame: lead out two metal trim panel sidelines from the snapped centerline, and then install the limit slot at the top of the door frame according to the sidelines.
 

3. Install the wooden bottom bracket of the metal facing of the frameless glass door: Nail the square wood on the original embedded wood brick, or nail the square wood through the expansion bolt to fix the square wood on the ground, and then use the universal glue to stick the metal decorative panel to the wood.
 

4. Install the rigid door frame: nail the square wood of the door frame according to the snapped center line, and then use plywood to determine the overall size and position of the door frame column. After fixing, wrap the metal decorative surface.

5. Installation of glass door leaf of frameless glass door: use a glass suction cup (or glass suction cup machine) to suck the thick glass tightly, and then use 2-3 people to lift the thick glass plate and move it to the installation site for preparation.
 

6. Glass fixation: Nail two flat square wooden strips inside and outside the bottom joist to clamp the thick glass in the middle, but leave a gap of about 4mm from the thick glass plate, and then apply universal glue on the flat square wooden strip to stick the facing metal plate on the square wood and two flat square wooden strips.
 

7. Glass glue sealing: inject glass glue into the gap on both sides of the top root slot, both sides of the bottom bracket glass slot and the butt joint between the thick glass and the door frame column.
 

8. Butt joint between glasses of frameless glass doors: thick glass plates of fixed parts must be assembled with two or more pieces due to their excessive width. The alignment and splicing of two pieces must form a joint, and a distance of 2-3 mm shall be reserved for the joint.
